The Argus Dome-6 omnidirectional jamming system is designed to prevent unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from operating within its coverage area by generating high-power omnidirectional interference. The system is fully autonomous and operates using an internal power source. It can also be connected to a standard external power supply or a portable generator. Once activated, the Argus Dome-6 omnidirectional counter-UAV system is capable of disrupting the operation of one or several UAVs, including a drone swarm, within its coverage area. The key difference between this system and the directional Argus Anti-Drone counter-UAV gun is the use of omnidirectional antennas and increased transmission power in the required frequency bands. When installed correctly, this allows the system to protect the approaches to a secured facility from all directions. The rechargeable battery provides up to two hours of continuous operation at above-zero temperatures and up to one hour at below-zero temperatures. The system is operated by one person and functions silently. It can be used to counter either a single UAV or multiple unmanned aircraft simultaneously. The system operates by generating interference in the UAV control and navigation frequency bands. Depending on the UAV model and its programmed response settings, the interference may cause one or more drones to:
stop and hover;
begin a gradual descent and subsequently land;
lose control and fall to the ground;
return to their designated home point.
For example, when exposed to the Argus Dome omnidirectional counter-UAV system, DJI Mavic-series drones may lose their control connection, video transmission and GNSS satellite navigation signals. ADVANTAGES
